About Us

DEDICATED TO PRESCHOOL EDUCATION

The Cartwright School is a uniformed, academic child care program for preschool children aged 18 mos. - 5 years old. The childcare facility has been open and operational since September 2011 and is family owned and operated. TCS provides students with a stimulating learning environment that will increase the child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. 


At The Cartwright School, the children learn through age-appropriate play experiences, music, art, and active participation in an environment suited to each young learner's needs. We encourage not only academics but also the motivation to become self-learners and love for acquiring new knowledge and skills. We want to provide an atmosphere and a reliable program that will equip each child with self-confidence, independence, and robust cognitive and social skills. 


The Cartwright School understands the significance of relationships between teachers, students, parents, and the community. We are here to encourage continuous collaboration for our children's success!

Our Philosophy

The basis of our philosophy at The Cartwright School stems from the belief that all children learn best in an early childhood program that provides developmentally appropriate practices in a safe and healthy learning environment.  We believe that every child is a unique individual who learns at their own pace, and we are here to foster and encourage their learning.

TCS First Virtual Tour & Open House

 TCS conducted it's First Virtual Open House (via Zoom) for parents to view the building, meet the teacher, and have a brief moment to ask questions to any of the members of management. Open House will be utilized for getting to know the teacher, what the students are doing in class, and what we hope to accomplish in the future. #keepingupwiththetimes #worldoftech #21stcenturydaycare #zooming

DEVELOPMENTAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE

  • The Developmental Football League (DFL) specializes in developmental football for the Spring Season.  
  • Eligible Age Levels are 14U, 13U, 12U (7th), 11U (6th), 10U (5th), 9U (4th), 7U (2nd-3rd) & 6U (KN-1ST). 
  • The Spring Season lasts 7 Weekends total. Week Seven is Championship weekend.

IOWA COLONY PIONEERS

Iowa Colony is a city located in northern Brazoria County on TX State Hwy 288, just south of Pearland city limits. Registration for youth football and cheer is open to other communities within the surrounding counties.


Physical flyers are located at TCS if you are interested in your child participating with the IC Pioneers.
